Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is delighted with the progress of Michael Dawson since his appointment.
In his column for The Sun, Redknapp wrote: "I have been so impressed with Michael Dawson at Spurs. What a man he is becoming! The key for me is how players react when they are not playing.
"He was sub on Sunday against Portsmouth but instead of moaning and moping about, he is always ready to help the team - geeing people up, getting very vocal and being part of the group.
"I always knew we had it in players like Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate but Dawson is emerging as a real leader."
