Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp may drop Peter Crouch for today's clash with Aston Villa.

England hitman Crouch scored in their 9-1 thrashing of Wigan, but could find himself back on the bench at Aston Villa as Harry Redknapp considers a recall for skipper Robbie Keane.

Boss Redknapp said: "Crouchie did great last week. But Robbie gives us a different dimension.

"He drops in the hole, comes short and helps to fill up the midfield a little bit when you lose it away from home.

"He knits the play together for you so it gives you a different option."
