Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has added Reading's Republic of Ireland winger Stephen Hunt to his list of targets.

Hunt, 28, has a £5m release clause in his Reading contract and is desperate to return to the Premier League after the Royals' relegation last season.

Reading director of football Nicky Hammond said: "Hunty's situation is well publicised.

"There have been no offers and we certainly don't want to lose him. I am hopeful we can keep everyone."
