Tottenham boss Nuno can be axed without the need for a compensation payout.

Pressure on Nuno has eased after back-to-back victories over NS Mura in the Europa Conference League and Aston Villa on Sunday in the Premier League.

However, going into last week, Nuno's position was being questioned.

The Athletic reports Tottenham can fire Nuno after the season without paying him any compensation - if the team ends up outside the top six.

Nuno was not Tottenham's first choice when José Mourinho's replacement was to be picked. He arrived after being released from his contract at Wolves.
