Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has omitted left back Danny Rose from his Europa League spot.

The Englishman is not in the group who will be eligible for the group stage matches later this season.

Rose was not able to secure a move away from the club before the transfer deadline.

According to the Daily Mail, he can still move to a Championship club before the domestic window shuts on October 16.

But even if he does not get that move, it appears his route to the first team at Spurs is nearly shut.

Ben Davies and Sergio Reguilon are the two who will compete for a starting spot this season.
