Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas says he won't tinker with Gareth Bale's preferred left-wing role.

Fans vented their frustration at Bale being played out of position last season but that is now unlikely to happen.

"He feels more comfortable when he's out wide on the left," said Villas-Boas. "Certainly we want to get the best out of him because he's an enormous player for us."
