Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has warned new QPR manager Harry Redknapp against trying for Jermain Defoe.
Defoe, often overlooked by Redknapp last season, has thrived under Villas-Boas this term and the Portuguese has no intention of letting the 30-year-old leave.
"That's not possible," Villas-Boas said when asked about the prospect of Defoe leaving in January.
"It's absolutely impossible. We have the belief in him."
