Tottenham are interested in Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.
The Mirror says the north Londoners are locked in a stale mate with Emmanuel Adebayor, who refuses to budge on his £175,000-a-week wages and will also not take a pay-off.
Spurs have been exploring alternatives for some time and are now looking at the possibility of a move for Dzeko who, despite his goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over Southampton, is still surplus to requirements at the champions.
