Tottenham have asked AS Roma about a price for Mattia Destro.
Spurs officials were in talks with Roma chief Walter Sabatini yesterday over the sale of Vlad Chiriches. The two clubs are haggling over a fee for the Romania defender.
And SportItalia says during negotiations Spurs have enquired about Destro's situation.
The striker has also been linked with crisis club AC Milan and Chelsea - with his agent visiting London earlier this month.
A player-plus-cash swap deal involving Chiriches has not been ruled out by Tottenham.
