Tottenham are competing with Sunderland for released Valencia striker Jonas. The Daily Star says the 30-year-old is free to sign for Spurs following his release from Valencia last month.
Jonas is also thought to be in talks with Portuguese giants Benfica over a switch to Lisbon.
Tottenham are light in attack, with Mauricio Pochettino having just Emmanuel Adebayor, Roberto Soldado and Harry Kane at his disposal.
And according to reports today, the Spurs boss is thought to be considering bringing the player to north London.
