Tottenham and Lazio both cop UEFA fines

UEFA have fined Italian Lazio as well as Tottenham following crowd disturbances and racism at their Europa League match in November.

Lazio fans were found guilty of racist behaviour during the November 22 match in Rome which landed them a £77,000 fine and have also been hit £42,000 for the 'racist conduct of their supporters, ignition of fireworks and incidents of a non-sporting nature' during their clash with Maribor in Slovenia the same competition on 6 December for a total of £119,000.

Tottenham have received a £6,300 sanction for what UEFA described simply as 'crowd disturbances' from the Lazio game.
