Premiership clubs are circling for Roma's want-away midfielder Julio Baptista.
The Times says Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool are all chasing the Brazil international.
Of the three, Spurs could be in front because they are in the Champions League preliminary round.
There are also offers from Greece, primarily club side Olympiacos.
It is reported Baptista would bring in around £6m to the club coffers after his spell with Brazil at the World Cup.
