Tottenham have already started their pre-season tour in Malaysia and midfielder Tom Carroll believes that the squad has adapted well to the hot and humid conditions.
The 22-year old midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Swansea City, provided assists for both Harry Kane's goals in the 2-1 win against Malaysia XI in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.
"It's good to get back involved with the lads and I'm happy to play a part in both the goals by grabbing a couple of assists," said Carroll.
"You know when Harry gets a chance in front of goal it's going to end up in the back of the net!
"To be fair, it was a tough game, though. My mouth was completely dry after about five minutes because of the warm conditions, but we adapted pretty well.
"It's good to win, you want to do well and although it's been a busy schedule for us, the fans are great out here and it's been good to be able to give something back to them."
