Tottenham ace Kane insists stellar season will not change him

Harry Kane's new-found stardom will not change him as a person.

The 21-year old enjoyed a stellar season with Tottenham, scoring 31 goals in all competitions, while also netting on debut for England.

During Spurs' end-of-season tour to Malaysia and Australia, Kane has certainly been recognised on his travels but he has made it clear that he will always keep his feet on the ground despite now being so well-known.

"Last summer I went on holiday to Dubai and Thailand and people hardly recognised me at all," said Kane after scoring against Sydney FC on Saturday night.

"But when we were playing in Sydney, a few of us thought we we'd take a walk to the Westfield shopping centre down the road.

"We ended up bumping into a few fans, who asked for pictures and autographs. The crowd got bigger and bigger and I kind of got stuck in the middle of it. I was surrounded. I couldn't get out.

"So the club had to send the minibus down to pick me up and take me back. It was crazy, but I've loved every minute of it.

"I accept my lifestyle will change a bit in some ways but I still want to remain the same. That's why I was determined to get out of the hotel and have a little walk around Sydney. I will always try to be as normal as I can."
