Tottenham ace Bale: Liverpool's Adam not worth bothering about

Tottenham ace Gareth Bale is still angry with Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam.

The Welshman reacted with fury towards the Scotsman following the tackle and Bale is still far from happy, despite being able to play and score against New York Red Bulls in Spurs' latest friendly on Tuesday evening.

Asked whether he had forgiven Adam, he told Sky Sports: "I am just not going to comment.

"People like that are not worth commenting on, he knows what he did wrong himself and just leave it up to what he does.

"It has been a rollercoaster and a lot of stuff in the media but I don't pay too much attention and I am concentrating on getting my fitness and being right for the start of the season.

"You don't pay too much attention, the most important thing for me and the team is being match fit for the start of the season.

"I only trained in the morning and I have been icing it 24/7. I wanted to be fit as there are not too many games left of pre-season and I want to get my fitness up quick."
