Torres: I expect to stay at Chelsea for at least three years

Fernando Torres says he expects to remain at Chelsea for at least the three remaining years of his current contract.

The Spanish striker is often linked with a shift away from Stamford Bridge after under-performing following his £50million move from Liverpool in January 2011 but he insists he is set to remain in Southwest London for the foreseeable future.

"I have many things still to give to this club," said Torres.

"I have three more years contract so I'm expecting to stay at least three years. We won the Champions League last season. Hopefully we can win the Europa League this one. It is our priority as well as finishing in the top four.

"We want to go back to the Champions League next season and keep winning trophies.

"I think we have a great squad and a young squad to build on. We are sure that we are a great team and we want to show everyone. I would like to be involved."

Torres has recently been linked with a move back to former club Atletico Madrid, quite possibly as a supplement for the possible transfer of Radamel Falcao to Chelsea.
