Chelsea striker Fernando Torres admits Rafa Benitez's spell last season was difficult for him.
Torres says he copped abuse from Blues fans angry over Benitez's appointment.
"The end of last season was good for everyone because our results were much better but, even at the end, Benitez did not have it easy.
"There was a very uncomfortable situation because of the fans' response against him and it affected us all.
"And because I was connected to Benitez through our relationship together at Liverpool, I was dragged into the wave of hostility against him.
"But I think the supporters at Chelsea now have a different opinion of him to when he joined us."
