Toronto FC winger Jackson Goncalves has copped a two-match ban following an incident in his side's 3-0 win over Chivas USA.
The 26-year old Brazilian clashed with Chivas midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker in the second half of the BMO Field fixture which prompted referee Edvin Jurisevic to send both players off the pitch with just over 20 minutes remaining.
Reo-Coker received a one-match ban for his part in the incident but Toronto will have to do without Jackson for two matches after the MLS Disciplinary Committee deemed his actions to be of violent conduct.
In addition, both Jackson and Reo-Coker were also fined an undisclosed amount after they became embroiled in a heated confrontation near the substitutes bench when TFC were three goals ahead.
