Toronto's Bradley realises dream with USA captaincy

Michael Bradley admitted it was a humbling honour to captain the USA national team.

?Toronto FC midfielder Bradley took the armband from the injured Clint Dempsey for Wednesday night's friendly with Denmark in Aarhus and was over the moon despite his side losing 3-2.

?"It was a tremendous honour," said the former AS Roma star.

?"Obviously Clint's the captain and he's done an incredible job, but for me to have the opportunity to be captain on the night that he's not here was very special and not something that I'll soon forget.

?"Growing up you dream for these kind of nights, so it was very special."?
