Toronto FC are handing trials to Portugal international defender Jorge Andrade.

Andrade has been without a club since receiving a pay-out from Juventus after failing to recover from a serious knee injury.

The former Porto stopper spent time in preseason with Sevilla and also Notts County in England.

Italian sources say Toronto football chief Mo Johnston has offered Andrade the chance to win an MLS playing deal with preseason trials.
