English Championship club Nottingham Forest have offered a trial to Toronto FC defender Andy Iro.
Forest boss Steve Cotterill is looking to bolster his shaky defence, which has conceded the third most goals in England's second tier, and 27-year old Iro has attracted the attention of the former Portsmouth manager.
England-born Iro joined Toronto from Columbus Crew in July after three-and-a-half seasons in Ohio, making 13 appearances in the second half of the season for Aron Winter.
