Toronto FC are believed to be showing considerable interest in Newell's Old Boys striker Maximiliano Urruti.
The 22-year old Argentine is being scouted by the Canadian club according to 4-2-3-1.com and could be soon on his way to BMO Field as a Designated Player.
Urruti made his debut with Newell's in 2011 and has scored eight league goals in 45 appearances for the club since.
Last week, TFC president Kevin Payne revealed that the club was in pursuit of a young Argentine forward and it has now been suggested that Urruti is that man.
