Toronto FC have brought in defender Ryan Richter from USL Pro side Charleston Battery.
The 23-year old former Philadelphia Union man will be added to TFC's roster upon receipt of his international transfer certificate.
Richter kicked off his pro career with the Ocean City Nor'Easters back in 2008 before moving onto the Union where he had a loan spell with Harrisburg City Islanders in 2011. He joined Charleston for the 2012 season and helped the Battery take out the USL Pro championship.
