Toronto FC have confirmed the appointment of Robin Fraser as their new assistant coach.
The 48-year old has been hired by TFC boss Greg Vanney after spending the past two seasons as Mike Petke's right-hand man at New York Red Bulls.
Fraser and Vanney were teammates at LA Galaxy between 1996 and 2000 and also worked together when the former was head coach at Chivas USA in 2011/12. The ex-USA defender was delighted to be reuniting with his old friend.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the tremendous staff at TFC, and I am looking forward to contributing to what I am convinced will be a very successful project," said Fraser.
"I would like to thank Greg and Tim Bezbatchenko for the opportunity to be a part of their vision."
