Torino continue to push for West Ham United striker Mauro Zarate.
TMW says Toro and Malaga are competing for the Argentine, despite him declaring his commitment to the Hammers.
"I am happy in the Premier League," Zarate said only last week.
Toro refuse to give up, however, making Zarate their priority target for the winter market.
The Granata have made contact with Zarate's brother and will push to open formal talks before the January transfer window opens.
