Torino president Urbano Cairo says coach Giampiero Ventura will soon be offered a new deal.

The Granata are buzzing after victory over Juventus yesterday, a first Derby della Mole triumph since 1995.

"Right now we only miss a chance to sit down. His contract expires in 2016 but it is not a problem," said Cairo.

"If he has the desire to prolong, we'll talk, we never had an attitude negotiating with him. We'll talk about it and why not prolong?

"Football is a particular thing, it is good to take one step at a time. The desire to raise the bar is always there, even though in recent years we have realized that it is difficult to keep players when they get relevant offers."
