New Torino coach Walter Novellino has shut the door on Inter Milan attacker Alvaro Recoba joining the club.

He said: "He's a great player, I have always considered him a great player and in the past I would have loved to have had him in my team.

"But in his role I already have another champion who is called Alessandro Rosina."
