Top four and then title are Tottenham goals - Adebayor

On-loan Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has highlighted the clubs goals for the campaign and feels that their present form will easily account for at least one of them.

Ahead of Spurs' London derby with Chelsea at White Hart Lane tonight, Manchester City's Adebayor is looking to secure a top-four finish before pushing on for the title this season.

"When you have good players, you think about winning titles and today we have great players, people like Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Aaron Lennon and Scott Parker," said the in-form striker. "Manchester United and Manchester City have great names, and Tottenham have great names.

"I'm not saying we're going to win the League. At the moment, Tottenham's ambition is to finish in the top four. Keep playing as we are now, and we have a chance to do that comfortably.

"We're two points ahead of Chelsea with a game in hand, and we want to put them as far behind as possible. We have been on a good run - 11 wins in 13 League matches - so now we concentrate on Chelsea. They want to beat us to close the gap on City and United, so these are the kind of games you want to play in."
