Former Hull City captain Ian Ashbee is excited over his move to Hull United.
Ashbee, who led City on their march from the Football League's basement division and into the Premier League, has signed for the Humber Premier League outfit as a player-assistant coach.
Working under new manager Curtis Woodhouse, the duo plan to turn the club into a non-league giant.
He told the Hull Daily Mail: "When Hull City were at Boothferry Park, Adam Pearson told me his vision for the club, which helped me to make the decision to join. It's exactly the same here.
"There's still burning desires in my belly and I'm passionate about football. I can't do something for 20-odd years and completely leave it.
"I've done a lot of things in the game at every level, so this job was something which I wanted to find out more about when Curtis asked me to come down and have a chat.
"Speaking to Jamie, his vision and the adventure the club are on is really exciting. With some help from outside businesses, hopefully those changes will come off and more people will jump on board."
