Inter Milan president Erick Thohir says they must buy good characters this summer.
Thohir also doesn't want to stall the development of their best young players.
"We do not want to take someone who will cause problems within the dressing room," Thohir has commented to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"What I do not need is to sign a star if he casts a shadow on a potential top player like Kovacic or Icardi. What could work better is a lesser name, but more experienced and functional to the project.
"Bearing in mind that, by navigating the Europa League Play-off round, we will be fighting on three fronts."
