Thierry Ambrose has announced he's leaving Manchester City when his contract expires next month.
Ambrose, 23, spent the season on loan at FC Metz in France, making 19 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.
He has taken to Instagram to thank City for their help in his development, wishing the club well for the future.
He wrote: "7 years ago I joined this special club! I can't thank everyone enough for everything! So many good memories that I will never Forget! I met some friends for Life!
"It was an honour to play for this amazing club! Once again thank you for everything... #alwaysinmyheart."
Reports in France suggest Metz have made their loan for Ambrose permanent for next season.
