Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is delighted Fulham have swooped for Olympiakos striker Kostas Mitroglou. It means they won't face the Greece international in their Champions League tie.
Ferdinand, thanking Cottagers boss Rene Meulensteen, posted on Twitter: "Fulham just signed our next CL opponents star man....good work Rene!!"
