Thai refugee Kler Heh eager to repay Sheffield United's faith

New Sheffield United signing Kler Heh says he is keen to one day play at Europe's highest level but for the moment wants to repay the club's management.

The 18-year-old moved to England four years ago, having spent time with his family as a refugee at a camp on the border of Thailand and neighbouring Myanmar.

"I would love to play in the Premier League one day but at present, my goal is to impress (manager) Nigel Adkins and (under 21 coach) Chris Morgan, and repay Sheffield United for the faith that they have shown to me," he said this week after joining the League One club.

"I want to grow as a player and I believe that I will be able to do that under Chris Morgan's guidance.

"But I am an ambitious player and I would love to one day be the captain of either Myanmar or Thailand at an international level. As I grow, I would love to play at the highest level possible – the Premier League and Champions League."
