Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini' blow-up with Carlos Tevez has been exposed.
The Daily Mail says Tevez warmed up with Nigel de Jong at the start of the second half but that his mood soured when it became clear that he would not be replacing Edin Dzeko.
Seeing Tevez sit down on the bench, Mancini told him to continue his warm-up, only to hear Tevez mumble 'no way'. It is understood Pablo Zabaleta then advised his team-mate to get up, only for Tevez to refuse again.
It was then that Mancini, after a hurried word with his assistant David Platt on his left, decided to leave Tevez on the bench.
Back in the dressing-room after the game, Mancini addressed his players calmly about their 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich and then turned on Tevez. On hearing his manager tell him to go home to Argentina, the South American just shrugged his shoulders, smiled and headed for the showers.
