Terry determined to bring more silverware to Chelsea

John Terry may have held aloft his 15th trophy for Chelsea on Sunday but he does not want the success to stop there.

The veteran centre-back scored in the first half of the Blues' eventual 2-0 Capital One Cup win over Tottenham at Wembley and after again experiencing victory in another final, is eager to produce the same feeling frequently in order to ingrain a winning culture under Jose Mourinho who is in his second spell with the club.

"That's the first trophy (since Mourinho returned), it's massive," Terry told Sky Sports.

"It meant an awful lot to us (to win the League Cup) in 2004-05 in Jose's first year here.

"That (Sunday's win) could be the start of something very good but we have to kick on and we have the league to focus on, but it's a great day and a great win today.

"The pressure was there before the game, obviously, but that's what cup finals do to you. I thought we played very well, handled the game very well and (we are) delighted with the win.

"I think it was fairly even first half, second half I thought we controlled it a little bit better and (were) deserved winners."

During his career at Stamford Bridge, Terry has won five Premier League titles, the Champions League, Europa League, three FA Cups, three League Cups and two Community Shields.
