Terry delighted to be on scoresheet in Chelsea rout

Chelsea skipper John Terry was delighted to get on the scoresheet in their 5-0 rout at Champions League opponents Schalke.

Terry bagged the opener for the Blues after just two minutes at the Veltins Arena.

Willian, Didier Drogba and Ramires were also on target, while Jan Kirchhoff netted an own-goal.

And Terry admitted he was delighted to return to the scoresheet.

"It was important for me to get the goal, I maybe should have scored at the weekend against West Brom and I was disappointed not to then," he added. "But I was delighted to get another goal in the Champions League to set us on our way.

"I thought the second goal from Willian was different class as well - great movement the whole way through the team and a great finish, and once the third one went in that was the end of it really.

"It is still an awful long way to go and we are not getting carried away. It is the old cliche of game by game but we seem to be getting stronger and stronger so let's hope we can continue our form."
