Terry: Chelsea can handle Quadruple push

Chelsea skipper John Terry insists they're strong enough to handle a four trophy title bid.

They lead the Premier League by five points, face Bradford in the FA Cup on Saturday, Liverpool in the second leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final three days later and Paris St Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League next month.

Terry told Chelsea TV: "We are used to playing two or three games a week, it's not a problem. We have a great medical department and the players are fit.

"The longer we stay in the competitions, it will serve us well because we're used to playing like that.

"When there is a game Saturday and then not again until the following Saturday, I think that's when we struggle. So, hopefully, we will stay in all four competitions, keep our momentum and really kick on. That's the target.

"Rest is very important. While we're used to playing two or three games a week, the rest in between is key. Nine times out of 10 you don't do anything for two days. You go out and have a jog, a stretch and do a little bit of ball work."
