Marc-André ter Stegen has again admitted frustration with his situation at Barcelona.
The goalkeeper is sharing the No1 spot with Claudio Bravo.
"In no way do I feel like an understudy. I've never seen an understudy feature consistently in the Champions League," he told 11Freunde.
"It's not a nice situation; that is no secret. I'd obviously like to play in every match.
"There's no problem between us and we speak regularly. I'd never wish anything bad upon him, but I am trying to get the upper hand."
