Bayern Munich scout Michael Tarnat admits they failed to act when handed the chance to sign Stromsgodset starlet Martin Odegaard.
The 15 year-old Norway international has been training with Liverpool and is visiting Arsenal this week.
However, former Manchester City midfielder Tarnat told Tz: "If a 15-year-old is doing as well as he is, then every great organization is interested in him.
"I can confirm that Martin was with us for a week in training. His father was there. He got to know us, we showed him our system.
"It's been over a year. And then he has improved which no one could have expected. He debuted in the Norwegian league and even the national team.
"Being a potential member of our junior team is no longer an issue."
