Newcastle United defender Tamas Kadar hopes to gain a full preseason as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
Kadar broke down on-loan at Huddersfield earlier this season.
Kadar told the Evening Chronicle: "I hope that I can rejoin the team at the end of April and train again.
"This injury is very difficult, but I'm happy that surgery wasn't necessary. Doctors didn't recommend the surgery and the recovery takes longer.
"I'm working very hard every day in the gym. I'm making running sessions and bike sessions.
"I hope that I can join the team at latest at the end of April."
