Glen Johnson has given a small indication that he could be on his way out the Liverpool exit door next summer.
The 30-year old defender is out of contract in June next year and has revealed that talks over an extension are 'very quiet' according to The Guardian.
Johnson was handed a new contract by the Reds earlier this year but Johnson is yet to agree to terms as he wants to stay at Anfield on a longer deal.
In regards to his contract situation, the England international said: "I am just concentrating week by week and not thinking about it.
"Of course I want to stay but, like I say, I worry about this week, this week, and then next week, next week. That is how I live my life."
When asked for an update on a potential new deal, Johnson said it was 'very quiet'.
The former Chelsea right-back arrived at Liverpool from Portsmouth in 2009 and has since made 175 appearances for the Merseyside club.
