Takumi Minamino admits he has some regrets over his first season with Liverpool.

The Japanese forward only moved to Anfield in January before the season was then suspended in March.

And he was disappointed not to have contributed more in Liverpool's momentous season.

"We could win the league and I am so happy I could experience that," Minamino told Super Soccer in Japan. "But I wanted to have goals or assists.

"I pay a lot of attention to them, so it's regrettable that I couldn't achieve it."
