Tadic fit as Southampton prepare for Aston Villa

Dusan Tadic will be fine to take his place in Southampton's line-up for Monday's clash with Aston Villa.

The 26-year old winger missed Serbia's midweek friendly with Greece but was present at Saints training on Friday and manager Ronald Koeman expects him to travel to Villa Park for the Monday night fixture.

"Dusan trained as normal on Friday so he will be okay to play Monday," Koeman told the club's official website.

"I prefer for us to play on Saturday because that is the normal day to play football, not a Monday. But the players now have some more days to rest and recover from games travelling back to Southampton."

Southampton currently sit second on the Premier League table with 25 points from 11 games while Villa languish in 16th with just 11 points.
