Tade leaves Inverness for St Johnstone

St Johnstone has acquired the services of Gregory Tade from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The 25-year old French striker has signed a pre-contract, for a minimum of one year, which will begin in July and Tade is looking forward to helping the Saints compete in the Europa League next term after a successful campaign with Caley.

"Over the last few weeks it has been very intense with various clubs showing interest in me," read a statement from Tade.

"I felt that my first season in the SPL went very well and it was important to build further on that form.

"I had great advice from Pro Legal Sports Management regarding my options and decided that I should expand on last season by staying in the SPL with St Johnstone.

"I will also be given the opportunity to play in Europe which is hugely important.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Terry Butcher and everyone connected with Inverness FC for their support throughout my time at the club."
