Sylvinho hopes to still be with Manchester City next season.
The Brazilian fullback feels his winning mentality can be crucial to City as Roberto Mancini's men aim to cement fourth place in their last six games.
And that's why he would love to stick around.
Sylvinho said: "I will think about next season when we have played our last game at West Ham. But I would love to be part of this again next season. When I came here one of the good things was that I could dream again. After beating Manchester United in the final in Rome, I was 35 years old.
"And okay, I thought let's go back to Brazil or even go to Japan.
"But no, I came here to work at a club which wants to go higher, wants to go forward and I feel excited again.
"I can dream of playing in the Champions League once more. Why can't I dream for the future? I'm enjoying life and I feel I can do a job for one more year at least."
