Sydney FC striker Alessandro Del Piero admits he is still slightly bothered by the manner of his recent departure from Juventus.
At the end of last season, the Italian great was allowed to leave the Turin club after almost 20 years of his service and suggests that perhaps it was not the correct way for such a relationship to end.
"One month is not much to make judgments, but the beginning is comforting from every point of view," Del Piero told Gazzetta dello Sport about his arrival at Sydney.
"The farewell to Juve still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. One year and a half ago I would not have imagined that this would happen, then things change. I still have the great satisfaction of having given everything I could for Juventus."
