Sydney FC have officially signed goalkeeper Liam Reddy on a three-year contract.
The former Brisbane Roar and Wellington Phoenix shot-stopper has been heavily linked with the Sky Blues for the past couple of weeks and today the club announced that he had officially joined.
Reddy said it was a great time to be joining the Harbour City club, especially after their championship win over the Melbourne Victory on the weekend.
"What a time to be joining Sydney FC," Reddy said. "I am really happy to back in my hometown and I am here to do whatever it takes to continue the success the club had this year.
"I had a strong season with Wellington and it was some of the best football I have played. I am going to work as hard as I can continue my own form but be part of winning team.
"The prospect of working under Vitezslav, Tony, Michal and especially John Filan is an amazing opportunity and is something that doesn't come along very often. There are a lot of excellent players here as well and playing alongside them will be special.
"Even though the club achieved so much this season it is still hungry for more. I want to be a part that culture and I feel I can add to it.
"Sydney FC is an excellent club, current champions and has the Asian Champions League on the horizon so it is an exciting time."
