Striker Leon Clarke has moved to Chesterfield on a three month loan arrangement after his public spat with Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio. The 26 year old was involved in a much-publicised confrontation with Di Canio on the County Ground touchline after the Carling Cup defeat to Southampton last week, with Di Canio telling the press the striker would never play for him again.
Swindon chairman Jeremy Wray told the club's official website: "Both manager and player are keen to put the matter behind them and move on, and it is felt this move is in the best interests of all parties."
