Swindon Town assistant boss Luke Williams won't be tempted away to Aston Villa.
New Villa boss Tim Sherwood is seeking to add to his backroom staff.
The Express & Star says the departed Scott Marshall will not be replaced at Aston Villa by Williams on Sherwood's coaching staff.
Williams is on a long-term contract with the League One Robins, where chief Mark Cooper has reportedly been the subject of an approach from Barnsley.
