Sky Sports reports a number of Premier League clubs are shadowing Swedish international Jiloan Hamad as a January transfer target. Hamad is a free agent in January and Malmo are resigned to losing the 22-year-old in the New Year.
The likes of West Ham, Fulham and Norwich have all been credited with an interest in the player.
The player's agent, Ferhat Cifci, claims Hamad's preferred destination is to move to England and that has he been contacted by four Premier League clubs.
"There are four clubs in England's Premier League who are showing great interest in Jiloan," Cifci told Sky Sports.
"There is also interest from clubs in Germany and France, but Jiloan's first choice is to play in the Premier League.
"He is a free agent in January and he is one of the best Bosman signings around and we are working on that at this time."
